Complimentary Consultation
A no obligation chance for us to connect and get to know each other. From there, if it feels like a good fit on both ends, we move forward with booking the first session.
Emily will send over an informed consent and confidentiality form, as well as a information booklet on starting the therapeutic process.
First Session
First sessions give us a chance to review the informed consent and confidentiality, as well as answer any questions in further detail. Typically the first session includes gaining background information on the client and their reasons for coming to counselling.
Onward
The work begins! We’ll work together to find a frequency and approach that works for you.

This work requires meaningful investment on both ends.
YOUR INVESTMENT
To begin the therapeutic process, I recommend sessions are done weekly/bi-weekly to help build our relationship. But above all, we will figure out a plan that is most supportive to you — weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and on occasion.
$165 for a 50-minute session
$235 for an extended 75-minute session
MY INVESTMENT
I show up fully for each client — I do this by only booking a certain number of clients each day, taking good care of myself, and leaving time in my day to recharge. Additionally, I seek clinical supervision, connect with other professionals, go to therapy, and continue my education/skills training to serve you better.
Areas of Focus
-
How could you show up in your life and relationships if your inner world was a haven — a warm and gentle space to land? A valuable part of the therapeutic relationships is our ability to explore co-regulation, the way we learn self-regulation.
Navigating the complexities of loving one another and ourselves can be challenging. Connecting with your heart, desires, values, and dreams can be a helpful anchor amongst life's big waves.
-
Grief and loss is an area so tender to my heart. Losing someone you deeply love can feel impossible — working together, we can sit together in pain, confusion, frustration, and the many emotions and feelings that arise. I believe that grief is not something you work through but learn to live with — a new way of being.
Standing with you as you navigate this newness is a great honour.

Growing up performing gave me a unique love of being on stage — I'm interested in finding & nourishing the performer in all of us.
The therapeutic relationship is a great place to explore public speaking anxiety/social anxiety. By focusing on the physical sensations and dropping the narrative, we can work towards building confidence and comfort in the body. Tapping into confidence and comfort can create ease in many areas of your life — including public speaking and connecting with others.

My experience dancing provides me with a unique experience at the cross-section of both training as an athlete and creating as an artist.
Dedicating yourself to a craft — whether as an athlete, artist, or both, is a turmoil-filled role. I am interested in supporting those struggling to find a balance in their lives and learn what about their craft really fills them up.
